Eleazer Pickwick Taxation Document

Eleazer Pickwick was a former Mayor of the City of Bath. He is buried in the churchyard of St. Swithun's Church in Bathford. His coaching business, which he started in 1779 is believed to have been the origin of the title and name used in Charles Dickens' novel "Pickwick Papers".

Debora Ellis has very kindly sent us some part-images of a Taxation Document relating to Eleazer Pickwick, and dating from the late 1790's.
If anyone would like to make comments on the document, Debora has kindly agreed that she may be emailed directly at ron_deb20@hotmail.com.
